yandass.mov follows the story of the incredible dancer, Yandass, as she learns to express herself on camera. It is a story of collaboration and hashing out differences, to find a way to express something beautiful. This enterprising piece was funded by the Random Acts Alumni Film Fund and lead by the insanely talented young director, Sam Jones, and the stunning Yandass Ndlovu.

 The team on this project were particularly amazing and, we're proud to say, nearly all Manchester based. Adam Grasso, our DOP, and Greg Vickers, MoVI op, had the extra task of becoming the "character" of the camera that Yandass hides from, fights and ultimately collaborates with throughout the piece. We also had an amazing lighting rig provided by Drop City and designed by their very own Kevin Dewsbury.
