SURF

Surf explores the trust granted through an online world, as we follow an increasingly voyeuristic traveller (affectionately nicknamed Trav!) as he uses the online home B&B service 'Roaming Rooms' to travel across the UK, filming his journey as he goes. 

Surf is a short film, funded by Creative England's iShort's program and directed by the brilliant Mike J Scott, who fills his audiences with dread so well.

As the film was shot in the found footage style (think The Blair Witch Project), many of the moments where you see "Trav's" hands or feet, was actually our DOP, Paddy McGowan and we never actually see Trav's face at any point in the film. It was really in the voice and sound work where our chilling lead actor, Ethan Holmes, brought the character into his own.
